    Lego Community Fund U.S.

    Thanks in part to the generous support of the LEGO Community Fund U.S., National Wildlife Federation is working on a monarch–related, “Green STEM” focused pilot program (the marriage between traditional science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines and environmental-based education) with 25 schools in Connecticut. The “Monarch Mission” pilot will see the creation of much needed monarch butterfly recovery gardens at each of the participating schools and is expected to reach 13,000 students and 850 teachers.     Little Seeds

    Monarch populations have declined by more than 90% over the past 20 years – habitat loss is a leading cause. Thanks to a new partnership with Dorel Home™, a division of Dorel Industries (TSX: DII.B; DII.A), the National Wildlife Federation and Dorel Home’s launch of Little Seeds™ brand are helping plant 500 school monarch/pollinator gardens from Minnesota to Texas through the Central Monarch Flyway. Little Seeds is a furniture brand providing families with high quality children's products with great style. The brand is committed to protecting and preserving the environment for our children's future. Since 1973, the National Wildlife Federation’s Garden for Wildlife program has helped people restore habitat and wildlife populations to our cities, towns and neighborhoods. Learn more »

    PSEG

    Since 2013, the PSEG Foundation has been a major funder of the New Jersey Eco-Schools USA program, a partnership between the National Wildlife Federation and our New Jersey affiliate, New Jersey Audubon. PSEG’s partnership with Eco-Schools fits seamlessly with their corporate responsibility priorities, which include collaborating with organizations to promote environmental stewardship, sustainability, and high-quality STEM educational opportunities. Thanks to PSEG’s support, the New Jersey Eco-Schools USA program has grown substantially and currently engages more than 270 schools by providing direct support and professional development for teachers and administrators. The plants are sold at garden centers and nurseries across the country in 32 states. As a longstanding supporter and promoter of the National Wildlife Federation’s Certified Wildlife Habitat program, American Beauties is dedicated to promoting native plants that “bring life to the garden,” the perfect complement to the National Wildlife Federation’s efforts to encourage homeowners to create wildlife-friendly habitats.     eDemocracy.us, LLC is a website that allows voters to communicate directly with their congressional representatives for their district. Through eDemocracy.us, voters can direct their legislator on how to vote on specific pieces of legislation. Voters can post questions and see their representatives’ answers.     As part of their ongoing mission to bring people and nature together, Wild Birds Unlimited is proud to be the Champion for National Wildlife Federation’s Certified Wildlife Habitat® program.     National Wildlife Federation’s RecycleMania 2020 competition is supported by Rubicon, a technology company born in the waste and recycling industry and committed to environmental innovation. Rubicon powers a digital marketplace, provides a suite of Software as a Service (SaaS) products for waste, recycling, and smart city solutions, and collects and analyzes data for businesses and governments worldwide. The company’s waste audit technologies are being used on campuses to mitigate recycling contamination, improve waste tracking and improve campus landfill diversion rates. National Wildlife Federation manages the RecycleMania program, and works in partnership with RecycleMania, Inc.
